What started as a studio project between Dallas Sousek and Justin Libertoski slowly mutated into something much more diabolical. The right people found their way in — Cole Anklam, Dallas Delgado, and Erik Ackerman — and suddenly five musicians from Wausau, Wisconsin became ground zero for an onslaught of metal.

The music is dense, suffocating, and deliberate. Equal parts atmosphere and aggression with heavy breakdowns, explorative riffs, and a multitude of styles clawing their way into an overall bleak picture.

Focused on metalcore and deathcore and inspired by the early-2010s scene, the band members' styles, techniques, and stage antics build on each other into an absolutely devastating blend of music — not afraid to explore and break boundaries.

When the time came to stop making music for four walls and take it somewhere it could do damage, Dead Man's Switch stepped onto the stage and didn't look back. The first single dropped late 2025, with two follow-up singles in early 2026. The band is actively writing new music toward its debut full-length album.
